So excited to get this vacuum pump and use it only to open it up and find that theres no connecting hose to attach vacuum to the chambernow what?? Missing conection hose so up until now from when i recieved it cant use itWorked for a day with no issues. After being used the next day the pump lost more than half of the oil from a leak in the bottom of the unit. Not a visible leak, probably a small leak from a seal. The chamber works fine, the pump is not good at all. Even the oil cap on the pump is not very sturdyThis works wonders for resin! It works out perfectly for helping with timing when you really need to get it done and not stressed over dealing with bubbles.After reading reviews, I was a little concerned about this product, however, I had no problem putting together, the poly lid didn't brake, gauge works, compresser not noisy, worked as expected. Packaging of motor oil could be better, it leaked during shipping . I would recommend.Chamber comes with everything stated and works as described.This thing is the biggest piece of junk! Don't buy it. I purchase this for a future project I was going to be doing for both wood stabilization and resin pours. First time use and the glass is shattered although I followed the installation manual to the letter. unfortunately I was not able to get to the project in time before the return policy from Amazon had run out and you cannot contact the manufacturer directly via email or any other means ( based out of China) the "contact seller" link does not work and if you try to go into chat it directs you to Alibaba.com which ( when and if you can contact someone) they say you have to contact the manufacture via their website and Alibaba refuses to give you the contact information of the company. looks like i am going to have to find a local plexiglass company to see if I can get a piece cut to spec for this thing.Don’t buy, the rubber seal on the acrylic lid will break from the pressure and there is no replacement seal. You will have to buy the lid and seal which, last time I checked was $60. The pump is ok but now that I know, I would have spent a little more for a stage 2 pump and a seal that is on the pot not the lid.Im sure it works, I bought wrong size pot so had to return. Never got to use it.Items all packaged well.No oil in the pump (as expected) although the pump is liberally coated with it.The major issue is that the valve assembly that goes through the lid has a thread that is too short for the lids thickness.When you put the metal and silicon washers on each side of the lid and tighten up the nut there is still a 2mm gap between the nut and the bottom washer. This results in there being no airtight seal for the lids hole making the system unusable.I was lucky enough to be able to 3d print a pla washer to fill the gap. Packing out with washers would also fix this issue as long as they are flat and at least the same diameter as the slilcon washer to prevent damaging it..Waiting for pump oil before I can try this system.
