I have a few Yeti products and none of them have ever left me questioning the quality of their products. I’ve never had a problem with keeping liquids cold. Now hot liquids are a little different. Because this is made of metal the rambler will typically be a little on the colder side it’s self. Putting this in the freezer and getting the metal nice and cold is a great way to make sure your liquid stays cold. But if you want to put coffee or tea in this then i recommend pouring some boiling water inside to allow the metal to warm up. If it’s cold outside or inside and your rambler is sitting there for an extended period of time then the metal will naturally get colder. So putting really hot coffee into a room temp or cold rambler will affect how long the liquid stays hot. Kind of like how ice melts if you put it in room temp water but will melt less quickly as the water gets colder. Now i recieved an actual yeti brand rambler and have never recieved a counterfeit so i don’t know what to do about that. Amazon seems to be very laid back and on the consumers side when it comes to returning things. They will often let you keep the faulty item and just send you out a new one. It’s also been hassle free from my experience. This thing will also keep food fairly warm. Pouring boiling water to get the temp of the rambler up is crucial if you want your food to stay warm for half a day. I put hot food in to mine for work and it’s usually warm enough to enjoy by the time i eat lunch (about 6 hours later). But keep in mind, i don’t think ramblers are specifically designed for food. So don’t get all up tight if it doesn’t meet your standards in that sense.I've been re-using plastic 64oz cups to get refills at my local 7Eleven so I can have carbonated soda at work virtually all day long (I know, I know). Usually, my drink is room temperature within 4 hours but it's something that I had accepted. The deal breaker was in that those gas station cups don't fit in my cup holder. So when I spilled almost half of my drink in my new car, it was time to upgrade. The 64oz. Yeti Rambler with its gasket, seal-tight lid was the perfect answer to this problem. In addition to safe traveling (in the seat with the lid on- still not cup holder friendly), the Rambler fits perfectly under the fountain spigots at the gas station AND I've had drinks stay cold for 24+ hours. I've used my Rambler now for more than a month and the money I'm saving on paying for refills (versus buying a new cup every day) has almost paid for the Rambler itself. I did read reviews and I was concerned about counterfeits but I dove in with the notion that I would return it if I suspected the item of being fake. I purchased it directly from Amazon and I know they have a solid return policy BUT the YETI I received was the real deal. My YETI Rambler has been my constant companion since I took it out of the box. Zero buyer's remorse here.I had read reviews that questioned the authenticity of the Yeti 64 oz bottle ordered from Amazon. The one that I received appeared to be genuine Yeti. It was indicated as being offered by a YETI verified supplier. It has stamped logos on the side and the bottom. It has molded logos on the handle and under the lid. There were multiple paper advertisements on the outside and inside. To test it I filled the bottle with 1 inch square ice cubes and put it in an 75 to 80 degree temperature at 100% humidity, according to the weatherman, for 24 hours. After that time, I drained and measured the liquid in the bottle. The result was 3 oz of water. The remainder was still ice cubes. I'm calling that more than acceptable for my needs. The bottle that I got was technically discontinued by YETI in favor of a different wider/shorter version. I wanted the discontinued one with the smaller footprint. Which by the way accepts the Rambler top with the straw and the flip top. Hope this helps.I purchased the 64 oz Yeti Rambler to solve a dilemma. My wife was having several rounds of very strong chemo and doctor's orders were to drink lots and lots of water to keep the chemo flushing from her body. Plastic water bottles wouldn't stay cool for very long and she didn't always have the strength to twist the lids off. Plastic flip-top sports type of drinking containers didn't stay coll for very long and seemed to sweat drips of water everywhere when she drank from them. So I ordered the 64 oz Rambler and ordered the Yeti "straw lid" to go with it. I then robbed the drinking tube out of my camel-bak's water pouch and inserted into the Yeti Rambler thru the straw lid. Perfect set-up!! Lots of really cold water for hours and hours. The Yeti name stood up to its reputation fantastically. The Yeti items shipped to me in just a few days which was great b/c I needed them post haste. Very satisfied!!I purchased 2 different brands of thermos containers of the same size (this one for water, the other a thermos carafe for coffee). Both claimed similar "keep hot" times. As I initially used them simultaneously I was able to note a substantial difference in the ability of each container to keep liquid hot longer. This one far exceeded the other one. It was also about double the price. But, because it works better, I use it the most, and now rarely use the other one. Even though I almost did not buy this one because of the cost, the added functionality has more than made up for that.I purchased our Yeti 64oz. Bottle when a reseller had them marked down to $39.99! I had no hesitation as this is an $80 item from big box outdoors stores and from Yeti.com. I also knew it was the real deal because Amazon's doesn't tolerate counterfeit items being sold from their resellers. The box it can in was a Yeti box, and it had the tags, the insert with care instructions, & a Yeti sticker in it that are all standard in any Yeti item. Now, my reason for the purchase. My hubby is on the road a lot for business, and loves to take his Yeti 30 oz full of iced tea.... unfortunately on a 12-14 hour road trip, that 30 oz. usually needs a refill. The 64 oz. Bottle is the perfect companion to fill with ice cold tea with no ice, and it keeps it cold for over 24 hrs. making it where he needs no additional ice for his Rambler.I adore Yeti products, they truly live up to their claims. I've made this a yearWater with ice stays cold for Days . And it doesn't tasteLike most metal drinking flasks taste . Excellent productWould highly recommend it ??very good quality thank you
