This is my second one. As with my Home Depot strong no kink they all get pin holes after a few yrs and they turn into a big rip… no one does it they do it on their own. So this is easier to manage the power is a bit less but the fabric will get holes in it around the connection and the moths like the fabric!! But it’s still easier and a better choice never a kink! Maybe I’ll try the expensive metal one next.The invention of a lightweight expandable hose has changed my life. After struggling for years with a heavy hose, attached to another heavy hose, just to make it around my oddly shaped yard, I bought this one because of the price and reviews.Pros: lightweight; expands and contracts quicklyCons: because of long length it tangles quickly, so you will want to unwind and extend it before you turn it on; when you turn the water off, the entire hose stays wet and drippy; like others have said, the free spray/nozzle that comes with it was cracked when I received it, and I never received the "promised" replacement, but I didn't buy it for the nozzle so...I bought a similar hose previously and returned it...was awful. I've been using this new one most of the summer and have no complaints. I'll make sure to bring it in during the winter and it should be fine.Just got this and have only used once, but it was easy to attach and manuever. Stretched well to where I needed to go to get to my outdoor plants at least 75+ ft away from wall spigot. Water pressure is good. Hose works well but couldn't get the nozzle that came with it to let water through, so will have to play with it and see if I can get it to work. Be sure to turn off the spigot, then open the hose outlet before unscrewing from the spigot or you will get wet!It’s Beautiful (I ordered green and blue);?Does not kink; the Sprayer has different sprays and it’s very convenient to use; hose is lightweight; I recommend!Only been using for couple of weeks. Price was very good just hope it lasts longer than the one I bought at big box storeFirstly let me confirm that I was asked to review this product, which was sent to me FOC. Having said that I am genuinely impressed.The hose arrived much quicker than indicated and was well packaged. It arrives in a plastic drawer sting bag containing the following: The hose, detachable multi-head sprayer with locking facility, connectors for half and three quarter taps, push-on standard hose/tap connector, spare washers, hanging loop and Instructions.I'm a little old fashioned about garden hoses. I have always used the rigid Hoselock type on a winding reel. Sturdy but heavy when dealing with longer hoses. I connected this new hose with ease and, with the valve at the sprayer end shut, opened the tap fully. The hose expanded and I was pleased to note that it reached the bottom of the garden easily - approx 100 ft. The spray head worked well in all settings and is easy to lock in the "on" position. To disconnect, best to leave the spray head open, turn off the water and let the pressure out of the hose BEFORE disconnecting. The hose, when drained returned to its flexible shape and was easy to coil, ready to be hung on the storage hook.Overall. I can strongly recommend this product and I will be using it as my main garden/car washing hose going forward.Works really well. You may have to experiment a bit with it at first, to get used to how it works, but then its all plain sailing. I had an issue with one metal piece coming off and sliding down the tube, and I could not get it back, but a strong friend managed to put it back very easily for me. I am using it regularly. I just turn the water tap on, wait for it to expand, and then gently lift and drag it to the area that I want to water. It is so easy for me to use. I like the spray attachment very much. My husband, on the other hand, hates it! He does not like the way it snakes along the ground as it expands - I think he is just too old fashioned at 72!I am glad that I went for the longer length, because if you use something like a sprinkler on it, then it does not expand as much as it does if you use the hand control mist setting. It needs a level of pressure in it in order to expand.Tip: Buy the longest one, if you are in doubt of what length to buy. I did, after reading the reviews, and it was the right decision.I put this together and the first time i used it water was leaking out of the hose bit soaking my hand,( i did check that all seals were in place) I tried to register for the warranty using an e mail address and have had no reply from the company. This is the 4th expanding hose i have had in 6 years,i always look after them,empty them every time,store them in the shed in the winter ect-I am awaiting a reply from the company regarding my warranty (almost 30 days have expired)it will be the last time i get an expanding hose as the others burst soaking me so i thought that if i paid for a good one it would be ok-alas.................Lot's of research on-line for this hose before I purchased it.. So far so good..Solid easy to connect brass fittings,extra washers and PTFE tape also supplied.. extends from the back of my house to the front, definitely therefore, 100ft.. I would say not lightweight, to manoeuvre, when fully extended.. But I'm a sixty years old lady and it wasn't a major problem.. follow the instructions, let it expand before use and retract/empty properly before you put it away.. Hose head/sprayer.. a little flimsy but it's good a reasonable selection of spreads.. I know people have mentioned it leaks, you have to go in a clockwise direction to change the spray, that's all.. it's the water pressure causing the issue.. there is an option to register on-line for the warranty and they're supposed to send you a metal hose head/spray.. I'll amend this if it arrives..I'm pleased so far, the outer layer does snag on bushes,ie. Thread's pulled, hopefully this won't be an issue moving forward..I couldn’t believe the size of the package that arrived - for such a long hose, it comes in a lovely little bag and I was amazed at how far it stretched out! I got this for my mother who struggled with attaching her old hose to the outdoor tap. This comes with all the fittings needed, and she was connected in an instant. I had so much fun trying all the different streams (the jet is so powerful!) and can imagine the paddling pool being filled much quicker this year! Definitely going to be getting our use out of this this summer, and it stretches all the way round from the back of the house to the car on the front so I’ll be able to wash my mum’s car so much easier than my current reliance on buckets!
