I wouldn't call myself a pack rat, necessarily, but I do admit to holding onto sentimental or seasonal clothing that I should probably re-home and am just not ready to let go of yet. I've been eyeing these bags for some time, and when the price dropped, went ahead and bought them. I'm glad I did.PROS: They absolutely do eliminate at least half to 3/4 of the space the clothes used to occupy in my closet, as well as protecting them from dust and the possibility of moths. I added a couple of cedar blocks to each bag for a bit of additional protection. Can't speak to durability yet, but they seem well made and I expect them to last for some time, particularly as I don't plan to open and close them more than twice a year to switch seasons. I like the included hangar with space to hang 5 different garments vertically inside, as well as the transparency of the front so I can see at a glance what's inside.CONS: They are a bit difficult to stuff several hangars worth of clothes inside so that they lay relatively flat, and to zip shut - the included zipper press (not sure what to call it) is difficult to get onto the zipper and to slide to close it. Patience is required (and possibly a helper - will recruit one next time). The most difficult part is the rolling up and applying pressure to get as much air out of the bags as possible. While it's advertised as not requiring a pump, it was challenging to roll the bag up from the bottom (even the long bag wasn't long enough for some full-length dresses, requiring the hems to be folded up a few inches) so that as much air as possible could be pressed out the top valve; it takes a few minutes to sit/press down on. I would honestly have preferred a pump, or an opening to use a vacuum. There was still more air in the bag than I would have preferred and no way to get it all out, but there was enough compression to matter.For the price and what I need them for, totally worth it. If I were to use them more often, or were not strong enough to wrestle with them, I would look for ones with a pump or the ability to vacuum seal.Love, love, love these hanging bags! I’ve used vacuum bags for years but never even realized hanging bags were a thing. With the first bags, I “squished” a closet full of dressy outfits, winter coats and sweaters. They’ve held for months.I was so pleased I ordered more. They’ve all worked great! I live in a home that has small closets and I welcome the extra space these give me.I liked the idea of making winter clothes take up less space!A little bit difficult to figure out the process and the air valve. Very sturdy bags.I couldn’t find my earlier review… it has been about 2- to 2 1/2 months since I sucked the air out of my bags… the suction has failed in 3 out of the 4 bags that I used. They held for most of that time and now 3 are not compressed as they were before. Sooo the suction didn’t hold completely. Clothes are loose in the bag.I really would not recommend these bags; whereas in my first review, I did recommend them.I started to use this bags in an effort to increase space in my closet. Works great, easy to use and saves so much space in my closets.Wonderful product. The hanging feature is soooo convenient! In the winter time, I can just pull from under my bed and hang the coats right into my closet and don't have to worry about wrinkles. Be clear about not putting too many coats in one bag. One of the bags split open while I was trying to suction. I think I had too much material inside. Close the suction valve quickly as the air does fill in pretty quickly after suction. Overall a great product.They leak around the top where the hanger is. Worthless.I tried the other three bags and I had no problems. They performed as designed. The first one leaked so bad I was tempted to throw them all away but I didn't. Maybe the one bag was defective or maybe I did something wrong which is possible. So I have to change my star rating. Would be 5 if the first bag didn't leak.I received my order seven days ago. I immediately used the two "Longer" hanging storage bags, one for my long sweaters, the other for two of my long winter coats.Very easy to get garments into it.Quickly vacuumed nice and flat, and Hard as a BOARD! LOLHung them in the closet... Just checked them (seven days later) andBoth are still totally flat, HURRAY!I love these hanging space saver bags. They fit multiple coats, jackets, or clothing items. They zip tight for storing out of season clothing and keep closet neatly organized. Well made and sturdy hanger.Very well made with thick plastic. So far, these are still hanging (about a week) with 5 items of clothing in them and the vacuum has lasted. It’s reduced my wardrobe space by 50% although I mainly bought these to store clothes over a long period without them getting all musty (In a wardrobe with poor ventilation). These do not come with any hangers so you need to supply these yourself. I didn’t use the supplied manual vacuum pump but went straight to my vacuum cleaner ...much easier and faster in my opinion.Very useful especially if you have humidity problems. I leave next to the sea and mold is always a problem. This helps protect the clothes from that, keeping them tidy and fresh.Not sure how long they would last on constant use but so far so good.A really good product that is easy to use. Changed my over full cupboard to half empty. Living in a house of 3 adults and a toddler involves a lot of coats. A bag for each of us that was simple to use. Will buy again for my wardrobe to separate seasonal clothesAll winter coats and stuff now take up a third of the room. Small bags take care of shirts and jumpers. Great value and great idea!Tried several vacuum cleaners but couldn't suck the air out so can't use
