I don't know why the Hoover belts get broken after a few months of use so I bought this from amazon to replace the ripped belt of my vacuum. You need a lot of energy and power to install this belt. I think this is true for any other vacuum belt. We were about to return this but I read the review and the other people that gave positive reviews disclosed this issue in their reviews. You have to really pull the belt really hard. I had to use both my feet to keep the vacuum from moving while I pulled the belt. After much struggling, I was able to install it, and it works! :)
